Iowa Innovation Gateway is partnering with The Manufacturing Institute (the foundation of the National Association of Manufacturers) and the Lumina Foundation to bring the NAM-Endorsed Skills Certification System to the state of Iowa. IIG is working with other stakeholders, including employers, educators, workforce development officials and economic developers to determine which of the certifications would best make the most sense for Iowa's manufacturers and the state's workforce.
