On May 11th, TR (Tony) Raimondo, Chairman of Nebraska’s Dream It. Do It. Initiative and Jennifer McNelly, President of
the Manufacturing Institute helped kick off Iowa’s DIDI Initiative.
They presented to an audience, which included Iowa Lieutenant Governor, Kim Reynolds and Paul Gregoire, VP
Fisher Controls/Emerson and IIG Chair to discuss the impact DIDI will have in attracting and retaining top talent in the manufacturing sector.
TR presented about Nebraska’s DIDI initiative and what programs they use to encourage students to pursue careers
in manufacturing AND related businesses.
DIDI fosters growth, innovation, and jobs by building regional alliances through awareness and education geared at students, parents, and educators designed to capture and prepare the next generation of skilled workers.
