By Admin, on September 19th, 2011% The on-line public voting phase of the regional Iowa Innovation Gateway DREAM BIGGROW HERE contest closed on Thursday, September 15th at 11:59 p.m. Thirty different regional entrepreneurs submitted testimonies about their businesses for the contest. Over 16,000 votes were cast throughout the voting period.

Participants will hear from panels of individuals experienced in many different aspects of exporting. Topics covered will include international business development, contracting and success stories. The conference will be of interest to those who currently export and to those who want to learn more about the world of exporting. Awards for excellence in exporting will be presented during the conference to several Central Iowa companies. Mary Andringa, President and CEO of Vermeer Corporation, will provide the keynote address. Andringa is the Chair of the National Association of Manufacturers and a member of the President’s Export Council.
